The 2024 Beijing Overseas Chinese Talent Conference for Development was held in the Beijing Economic-Technological Development Area (Beijing E-Town) from August 27 to 30. Targeting key areas such as the development of emerging industries and future industries, this conference presented multiple major events, attracting nearly a thousand participants.

Innovative talent development event

The Overseas Chinese Talent · Innovative Talent Development Event, one of the important activities of the conference, drew about 220 participants, including representatives of universities in the capital, domestic and overseas research institutions, and innovative enterprises. The event interpreted Beijing's Policies to Support Overseas Talents in Starting Businesses and Working in Beijing, and brought together representatives from overseas enterprises to engage in in-depth discussions on the opportunities and challenges in entrepreneurial investment for overseas Chinese.

Health industry development event

At the Overseas Chinese Talent · Health Industry Development Event, multiple experts and scholars delivered exciting presentations on cutting-edge technologies and products in the health sector. During this event, Beijing E-Town presented the development status, policy framework, and industrial opportunities in the biotechnology and health industry within the area.

During the four-day conference, 20 representatives of overseas Chinese media outlets from 15 countries and regions, including the United States, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Australia, Japan, South Korea, and Indonesia, conducted comprehensive interviews and deliver reports at the main venues of the 2024 Beijing Overseas Chinese Talent Conference for Development. Through their observations, thoughts and reports, the modernization and development of Beijing E-Town will be shown to the world.
