In the first three quarters of 2024, Beijing Economic-Technological Development Area (Beijing E-Town) demonstrated stable and positive development, showing progress and continued improvement.

The GDP of the area increased by 7.6 percent year-on-year, industrial output value by 9.9 percent and fixed asset investment by 15.7 percent.

The four leading industries of Beijing E-Town, including the new generation of information technology, high-end automobiles and new energy intelligent vehicles, biotechnology and health, and robotics and intelligent manufacturing have been greatly promoted.

The high-end automobile and new energy vehicle industries, and the new generation information industry, as the core of high-end industries, have accelerated development, showing particularly outstanding performance in the third quarter and driving a 22.6 percentage point increase in the output value of small and medium-sized enterprises in the region’s industrial sector.

In addition, the financial industry of Beijing E-Town maintained growth, with two net income items growing by 21.9 percent in the first three quarters.
